I am a licensed professional counselor at Vallis Mental Health, offering clinical services that focus on treating the whole person through addressing the biological, sociological, and psychological components of wellness. I specialize in assessing and treating a variety of issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-based disorders, and substance use disorders. I have years of direct experience in assisting those with ADHD, neuropsychological disorders, and chronic illness as well as assisting Autistic and LGBTQIA+ individuals. My approach is to welcome each person as they are and provide a safe, judgment-free environment where his/her/their personal goals can be identified and met.
I attended Jacksonville State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003 and a Master of Science in Counseling in 2006. I have been a licensed professional counselor for the state of Alabama since 2009 and a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional level I since 2018.
