Rachel Neubacher, EdS LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a licensed professional counselor at Vallis Mental Health, offering individual counseling. I graduated with a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I am completing an Education Specialist Degree in Community Care and Counseling with a Traumatology cognate from Liberty University.
I take an eclectic approach to therapeutic interventions. My reasoning behind this is that each person is unique and will both respond to and need treatment that is tailored to them. I tend to focus on Cognitive Behavioral and Patient Motivated techniques since I believe people know themselves best. Their progress and healing take place when it is a choice that is desired and believed in. I love working in the mental health field since it provides me with the chance to help others reach their goals and heal in ways they hoped for. My dream is to not only make progress with patients in supporting their needs met, but also make healthy connections and changes in the community through my work with Vallis Mental Health.
