Vallis Mental Health is proud to offer autism testing using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition, commonly known as the ADOS-2. This examination authored by Catherine Lord, PhD, Michael Rutter, MD, and colleagues, and published by WPS, is a semi-structured, standardized assessment tool which incorporates a series of play-based activities aimed at gathering information in key areas including communication, reciprocal social interactions, and restricted or repetitive behaviors, all of which are relevant to the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The test is comprised of different modules which coincide with the age of the participant.
