Associate Licensed Counselor
Under the Supervision of Brooke Nelson Murphy, LPC-S

I am an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) at Vallis Mental Health. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Athens State University and my Master’s Degree in ClinicalMental Health Counseling from the University of North Alabama. I am currently in the process of obtaining my EdS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Education from Jacksonville State University.

I am passionate about helping individuals understand how their past experiences shape their current behavior and emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where patients feel respected, understood, and empowered as they move toward healing.

My clinical approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from cognitive-behavioral principles, person-centered therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and systems-based perspectives. I believe each individual deserves a counseling experience tailored to their unique strengths, needs, and personal history. Therapy can be vulnerable and challenging, and I aim to meet each person where they are with empathy, authenticity, and respect.

I have experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, body image concerns, and life transitions. I am dedicated to helping patients build resilience, address unresolved trauma, improve emotional regulation, and foster meaningful, long-term change.
