I am a licensed professional counselor at Vallis Mental Health, offering clinical services that focus on treating the whole person through addressing the biological, sociological, and psychological components of wellness. I specialize in assessing and treating a variety of issues, including mild to moderate substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma responses, especially those related to surviving natural disasters, depression, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, chronic illness, and anger and stress management. My approach is to welcome each person as they are and provide a safe, judgment-free environment where his/her/their personal goals can be identified and met.
I graduated with a B.S. from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis while minoring in Sociology. I then continued my education a Jacksonville State earning my Master of Science in Counseling.
