I am a professional counselor at Vallis Mental Health offering individual counseling. I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry, and I incorporate my knowledge of physiology and neurobiology into counseling intervention and psychoeducation.

     I graduated from Troy University with a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology. I completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision at the University of the Cumberlands.

     My approach to therapy utilizes an integrative blend of counseling theory to provide specialized services to a wide variety of patients and patient issues. My goal in therapy is to work in an equal and collaborative relationship with patients to reach his or her goals through empathy, respect, and light humor. I strive to assist patients work towards identifying challenges or conflicts as well as finding meaning and purpose in life.
